Anyone interested in a Surgical missions trip to Africa?
Last August, I volunteered in Liberia West Africa to do free surgeries for the Liberia poeple. This christian organization is Mercy Ships. They deliver hope and healing through their hospital ship called the Africa Mercy by spending 10 months a year in an African country. This year they are in Benin, West Africa. What a blessing it was to be part of such a wonderful Mission. You can volunteer for a minimum of 2 weeks or as long as you choose. There is a critical need for OR nurses this… Continue

Work Stress & Road Rage
I attend college online and we're on the subject of stress and how we need to control it for a better sense and feeling of wellness. I'm still trying to find my first job as a medical laboratory technician but I feel that we medical professionals need to find ways to relieve stress on the job and on the road. I recommend that we get at least 6 hrs of sleep and eat a good breakfast before we leave for work. Getting adequate rest and eating a good meal… Continue
